Nick Slater - founder & president
Nick is the founder and President of White Pine Advisors. He is an executive sales leader who has led sales teams ranging from 2 to 700 employees for multi-national organizations, as well as an entrepreneur, an Angel Investor, a former consultant for Accenture as well as PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and a graduate of both Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and Purdue University.
He has held retail sales leadership positions at Sunrun, Dish Network, KeyMe, and Motorola. At Sunrun, he led retail strategy and sales, overseeing the national accounts business unit and setting strategy for Sunrun’s 700+ retail lead generators. At Dish Network, Nick led the distribution of its service and hardgoods products into national retail, and also led Dish’s indirect Sales Partner channel, its largest acquisition channel across shared and direct mail, paid and organic search, inserts, directory, television, radio, and digital affiliates.
He has led sales organizations selling into Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, Target, Costco, Sam’s Club, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Ace Hardware, Cabelas and Menards.
